One of my incomplete entries is on saying sorry, so I was interested to read this. You've covered it from an interesting viewpoint - the intentionally insincere apology. When I eventually finish mine it will largely cover the unintentionally insincere apology. I'm not sure a sincere apology exists, not a vocalised one, at any rate.
