There's been some wonderful stuff written this year, and I greatly enjoyed participating. I've made some new friends, learned new things about filmography and lit (thanks pebbles and coely!), watched people's daily lives unfold or get DIY'd, discovered some great websites (thanks Icy!), taken part in some stimulating conversations (wish 2legs had been able to stay the course), and much more.
Thank you everybody who took part!
My own journals look much more organized than they actually were; really they sprang up right ahead of me like magic stepping stones. And needless to say, I have a lot more time on my hands than people like BMT and Vip and superfrenchie (whose journals I stumbled on very late).
That would in fact be my only criticism, that maybe we should have set upon one system for logging and doing this. I'm still tracking journals down.

I agree with that. I think in 2011 we had a new conversation every day on the NaJoPoMo 2011 page, and whoever got there first started it. You posted your link within that conversation and subscribed to it to be notified of everyone else's. That worked really well for me but I think it wasn't so good for others. You can please some of the people some of the time...
It didn't seem too bad this year but I was ruthlessly unsubscribing from journals I'd only left my mark on without any particular comment, so as to avoid notifications of other people also just leaving their mark. I hope I didn't miss out on anything interesting by doing that. I also hope no-one aimed a comment at me in those threads.
I've loved all the different styles and subjects, it's been so interesting. But I'm not the only one who's named yours as the best, Lil. You should get a badge for it!

I think I tracked everybody down, but I do have all the time in the world so I can see some kind of organisation might be useful for people who live in the real world.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Nov 30, 2013
I did come back to my butter journals, after I returned... but just coming here, reminded me, I never posted links to them, on teh page
Lil, yours was a definate highlight for me too; though I'm still catching up on the backlog!
Those where people posted into the one thread, were really nice for following the whole thing, as it was posted each day, plus with others comments; though now having gotten a couple of these with massivebacklogs, I think also taht can be a downside of them ... but at least when you've ofund them once, you can find them again; some other's I'm still hunting down and finding ones they posted ages ago, at eh start of the month, but which I missed I'm still not entirely sure I'll stop posting a butter jorunal a day, for therest of the year now...

I went to the NaJoPoMo page on the first of the month, and put everyone listed there on my Friends List Then I saw Lanza mention that MC was doing NaJoPoMo, and learned I *hadn't* friended her ages ago, like I thought I had...

I did one long thread because I didn't want to bury any of my very rare journals, but I really liked the way pebblederook did it as an entry, with a table and a link to each day. It was so easy to follow.

I did mine as a separate journal for each day, because I was planning to post a link on FB each day. I think the last link I posted was to the one where I talk about all the people I lost in a short span of time--immediately after was my span of complaining that I didn't have anything to say, which I didn't want to bring people from FB to read Then I just didn't bother after that Though the entry-with-threads-hanging-off way would make sending links just as simple *ponders*

I eally enjoyed yours too, coelacanth... I have managed to catch up with that, at least, since getting back from being away
A few people's I nerly missed entirely... as I either had them as friends, or added them, then took me far longer than it should, to realise they were posting the journals to a seperate page, so they weren't automatically showing up on my covo list I think I may have missed some people's entirely... so I might have more catching up to do than I thought...

We asked, before launching this years NaJoPoMo, whether there was agreement on one way to post journals. The answer was that there should be no one way... So we got a kind of creative anarchy!
I rather regret my decision to write a story because I spent so much time story-writing I didn't get to visit people's journals much. I'll have to catch up now.
