I loved your water colour of this bird and found the entry discussing its calls very informative. We also note the various alarm call in our back yard 'ordinaries' when a stray cat comes on the prowl. I wish they had the nerve to mob the cat.

Clever bird using spiders web for their nests
Spiller was mobbed by a little Robin at the weekend, Spiller was staking up his tomatoes and the wee thing flew out of the berry bush and tweaked his ear and scolds him for sitting on the doorstep having a
