That makes sense given the predator situation. I like the various design elements on the toad's skin. Nature doesn't mind mixing stripes and spots.

Thanks Elektra, I'm happy you enjoyed this! I really hope I can soon see more of these, I love them. Would also love to find them breeding. There are plenty of ponds around that should suit them ... I really hope I can soon start being the explorer and all again and take many photos and maybe even record some of their calls. This one's call is not yet on the 'net.
