Great article, Willem. They must be the most ferocious planteater ever. It is a wonder that there is enough grass to support them. I loved the legends concerning them. I wish people could find water sources away from these guys, they are pretty intimidating. Great painting and sketches as well.

Thanks for reading Elektra! I've actually been fairly close to wild ones - have some nice photos. They're not that dangerous unless you get in between them and the water. Still it's always a good idea to have a car or tree within short running distance ...
