Good topic, but all that industry history coming before the analysis of the cartoons kind of causes interest to lag.
Personally, I'd beef up the second paragraph. Instead of saying that propaganda 'reached its peak' during World War II - which I'm not really sure is true, anyway - why not point out that in their desire to 'sell' the war effort and demonise the enemy, Hollywood cartoonists, including Theodroe Geisel, Chuck Jones, and others, perpetrated racist stereotypes?
>>Pearl Harbour<<
I think it should be spelled 'Pearl Harbor', as that's the name of the place? I mean, we don't change the names of other places to suit our spellings, or do we?
>>Similarly, the character of Daffy Duck often resolves similar inner conflicts and too joins the outer one.<<
That sentence confused me totally. I'd make a suggestion, but I'd have to know what it meant first.
I've done some archive.org digging - maybe you can use some of this stuff? It's all sticky and Public Domain, though the Public may want to redefine its Domain to get rid of it.
Here's a Private Snafu cartoon, called 'Target: Snafu':

Mosquitoes are drafted. But only if they have malaria. Gaah.
Here's a 1943 Snafu cartoon, called 'Coming!! Snafu'

Humanoids, this time. And they're coy in reading 'Situation normal, all....er, fouled up...' Snicker, snicker...
The Ducktators:

With advisory, please: this is as seriously racist as anything produced by UFA.
Some Popeye cartoons:

Here's a Bugs Bunny cartoon called 'Herr meets Hare'.

Hermann Goering attempts to shoot Bugs Bunny, who is lost in the Black Forest. They can't take it seriously, though - it degenerates into a Wagner parody, with jokes that are funnier if you know German and a Joe Stalin bit.

Hello
Sorry it's taken a while to get back to you about this, but I've been away and not had regular internet access. I've made changes as suggested, though.

Well done Lt. Thrace (formerly Death of Rats and Rodent like humans)
That's 3 Animation-related articles recommended in a row, including the one on Cartoon Genius and How Bugs Bunny Saved Mel Blanc's life.
