Florida Sailor All is well with the world

Hi Willam

Your entry brought to mind one of our own strange residents;

http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/armadillo/

The picture is not the best, certainly not up to your standards, but you can see their ears are quite prominent.smiley - biggrin

They are usually found on the roadside after an unfortunate encounter with an automobile, but I have seen them routing by the roadside near dawn and dusk. I don't know if they are related to the Pangolin, but I though you might find the link interesting.

Hello Florida Sailor, thanks for that link, and thanks for reading my article! No, armadillos are only very distantly related to pangolins. But they are very interesting mammals as well!
