What is about water that appeals so much to our inner child?. I cannot go past a water fountain without looking fondly at its pool
of water. As an Australian, who has lived in two east coast cities, going to pools and beaches are common events.
But waterfalls still never cease to amaze me. We have few water parks in Australia. There is Water World on the Gold Coast,
with its artifical wave generator. At Dreamworld, on the Gold Coast, there are water slides. These are packed in summer and spring.

I definitely can’t resist my inner kid around water. I love swimming in lakes, rivers and the sea also. I often take my son to the River Severn after school and somehow we discover that we are paddling up to our necks with our clothes a damp pile on the river bank.

I will be in London next week. Are there any good indoor swimming venues near Kings Cross and/or
St; Pancras.
