I really wish people could change their minds in a positive direction. Otherwise they'll take down all the other species as well as themselves. This being outside nature doesn't improve the human character at all.

Thanks a lot Elektra. You're right about us seeing ourselves as outside of nature. Once we understand ourselves as being fully integrated in the entire scheme of life on this planet - and act that way also - we will be enriched in a way most people cannot imagine.

Well the BBC had an item on 80 or 90 year old farmers in the UK, and also had something on why people living in cities are not necessarily callous but problem avoident when it comes to crime prevention or helping the police with their inquires. High density population seems to change peoples responses to their fellow man while usually in rural areas people are more helpful. Poor people are also WAY more hospitable and kinder to strangers. They recognize that everyone human needs help sometime.
