Some of your suggestions for journalists also hold for reseachers and guide entry writers. Sex garners hits, most probably for the reason you suggest. The problem with the Guide is it has to be more respectable to stand out from all the self referencial blog and celebrtity drivel on the web and still be entertaining. Truth is OUT THERE and more fun sometimes than fiction.
