Evil hair day, that is!

Hello Happy Nerd, I'm very happy to have been of service! So should I do this sort of thing again?

I had three evil hair days this weekend. The Mancunian air is not becoming to my hair.

Heh heh! I have permanent evil hair. These days I can't afford to have it cut and it refuses to obey a brush ...

I just had mine cut. The young lady stylist hadn't done me yet.

I said, 'It grows like a topiary bush.'

She said, bless her, 'I don't know what that is.' I explained.

She replied, 'Oh, it's a 'fro.'

I beamed. 'Exactly.' I got a good haircut.

Mr Nerd has me cut his hair so close that the curl barely shows.

Yeah, but then it grows out, and your hair's all lumpy, like Dean Stockwell's in the early 70s. I have this thing about symmetry, y'know? So I'd rather have a round head...

I'd better stop now.

Good, it worked! Anyways: I don't know if I can do this again. I've done another one and sent it in but the h2g2 folks were worried about copyright issues (my art was looking too much like the actual scenes). And also ... I haven't actually watched a movie at home in years. Remember I'm pretty much excluded from normal human society so lots of 'ordinary' things are almost impossible for me. But I do have more humorous ideas ... I'm thinking of a big comic (actually a long series) about a demoness, which I think I can make very funny indeed. But I'll have to see. I'll probably need to quit my job so that I can have time to do that justice ... but it might work, if I can make enough money of my art and books. I'm going to see next year about getting 'Narlesha the Dragonslayer' published as well, with new colour pictures and slightly expanded text.

I wouldn't worry too much about copyright, as long as it's clear that it's fan art.
That's a huge thing, that I come across on tumblr - fan art, and fan writing. Changing the stories for fun, or for expanding the plot, or whatever the fan feels like. I think as long as you don't hawk it as the genuine thing it should be quite ok.

And I'd love to see it!

And as long as it does not involve the Disney Corporation.
