Since you are here: are there any second-hand shops that sell books? I need to lay hands on all books by Jerome K Jerome that I don't have already (ie most of them).

Manchester has a plethora of second hand book shops that are really a front for dodgy magazines and DVDs.

However, there are two worth trying. The first is on Shudehill, has classical music blaring out loud enough to drive away most customers, but is definitely the best. The second is a small stall on a market between Shudehill and Market Street.
