That it's damn near impossible to discern a recipe from your research?
I know it works - I've seen it done. But decoding the prose to find out how to replicate it? Beyond my ken.

Ar kid was asking (he's a barman) and was asking for a spec. I can't provide that if I'm slammed on PGGBs.

Is this right?
Mix one measure of chilled rum, gin and vodka
Rinse a glass with creme de menthe and add to the spirit mix
Add a measure of lemon juice to the mix and set aside
Strain into minty glass
Add tonic water to taste
Add a drizzle of grenadine and a few drops of tabasco
Drop in one olive and one cherry

Pretty much!
White spirits over ice in a shaker, shake well. Half a measure of creme de menthe, and when you add the lemon juice to it all, give it a good swirl, then strain.
Top to near the top with tonic, then cherry, then grenadine, then tabasco, then olive
