Secretly Not Here Any More

I had a cracking conversation with him about Waterloo (he didn't like my reading of the battle) and military history.

I often wonder what happened to him. Seemed like a cracking bloke.

If would be smiley - cool if any of you guy have been in the military to see if you can track him through his former units. Unless SAS is too secret to have public websites. I know the military here has them for former vets an all. They tend to discourage current serving members to have too much exposure because of security issues, which is understandable.

Well, I've just spent far too much of my time ration on this and it is the very meat of h2g2... such a shame that it's not in the EG - is it too late to lift it & shift it, as it is?

I dunno, Rod. Since the author isn't here to resubmit, I'm thinking not. Which was why I was asked to publish it. smiley - smiley

I think we all agree it should have a Guide Entry.

Agreed, this could go in the EG as a personal piece. Credit to the original author and a sub.

I thought I might contact someone with influence but reconsidered as it seems unfair to bother 'em just yet.
Let's hope I remember in a few month's time. No, that's unlikely ... remind me (in a few month's time - ha!), someone?
