I'm betting all the volunteers involved will be chuffed to have been mentioned in your dispatches.
Your contributions to this venue are not going unnoticed by me, either. 
may be too cheap to give out awards, but we appreciate our writers (and clever artists) nonetheless.

I'd envisaged the badge for this one-off time as a Lifetime Award / Membership.
... if (IF) it's to become an annual event, that bit will become important.
