For ease of twitteryness we should have # hastag for meet related tweets,

mostly so that the official h2g2 twitter accounts can promote the meet to all the hootooziens who have jumped ship to facebook and twitter.

I am of the opinion that #table42 is a suitable tag, and having done a search it prompted one solitary result, so it's pretty exclusive.

Unfortunately, it's not. It doesn't put tagged tweets into any sort of context for outsiders, and it won't catch the attention of any lapsed users who stumble across it.

I'd instantly think it was an advert for a restaurant.

#h2g2meet is easy to remember, to the point, and immediately puts everything in context. I'd suggest that.

I put out a suggestion for something I know had been used before.

Of course other people may have better suggestions.

#h2g2meet is fine.

I'm happy to go with whatever the general consensus is.
