Editing Personal Space

I just tried to edit my PS (I'm using Brunel), but when I click 'Edit Page' I get the message 'You have no permission to delete this page'.
One, I don't want to delete the page, but edit it - and apparently I can't at the moment.
Two, (far less im portant) why would I not be allowed to delete my PS if I would want that?
Do you have any idea what could be going on, and how to fix it? My PS does really need updating...

Quick update: Precise text is 'You do not have permission to delete this Guide Entry'.
