The Yeungling Brewery in Pennsylvania markets a pre-mixed 'Black and Tan' that's not as bad as you might think!
Also, I thought the 'traditional' black and tan was Harp and Guinness...
...at least that's what the only pub near my house insists upon.

Nice short entry!
Tho, I always used Newcastle brown ale! Think it does need to be an ale, more than likely a brown one or the name isn't accurate!
Is there an entry on Micky Mouse's? Bitter and lager?
Z.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
Congratulations!

Could be wrong, but I suggest Harp is used in the traditional US version.

Congratulations!

Well done, Dr MT! By the time I'd found this at the bottom of my flea market conversations, you'd already edited it and got it accepted...
Also pleasing to be reminded of Harp Lager, which you don't see about so much these days. I remember a couple of great adverts from the early nineties, one of which featured the concept of the 'Lionel Blair' haircut.
