A Conversation for Routines Before You Leave The House
My routine ...

Once I'm up, showered, dressed and coffeed, I start looking around for things like my watch and jewellery, then my walkman, then my mobile phone, all of which I usually leave on the sideboard in the living room. I leave my keys in the door so I always know where to find them. I often double and triple check things like - gas turned off, heater turned off etc. I've even gone out only to return because I start thinking "Did I check the gas etc?" Memory is not what it used to be I'm afraid. I hate leaving home without wearing any earrings because it makes me feel only half dressed. I don't lay out my clothes the night before because I decide what to wear while I'm still in bed before I get up. Sometimes I'm caught out frantically ironing something with one foot out the door because I desperately want to wear it. Having said that, I can manage to get everything done (and that includes putting on make-up) in less than 30 minutes. Not bad for a female, is it?
