New Year's Resolutions for your Friends and Family
Created | Updated Dec 23, 2003
It's an old tradition that we all make resolutions at midnight on New Year's Eve. Throw away bad habits as the old year slips away; start the New Year fresh and bright with lots of good intentions. New Year, new me. Some handy hints are to set yourself reasonable goals and achievable targets. That's the best way to make sure that you stick with your resolutions. For instance, men could resolve to always put the seat down, if not the lid as well. It's a small goal, and easily achievable for most men.
What we'd like to know is what resolutions you are hoping your friends and family will be making for 2004? Are you hoping your wife will stop farting in bed? Or your boyfriend will stop using your stockings for golf ball holders? Actually, let's stop beating round the bush and sniffing round the tree. What we'd really like to know is what resolutions you'd make for your friends, family and colleagues?
Is there someone in your family who could do with a resolution to be less annoying?
Would Abi mind if I made her a resolution to bring in more biscuits?
Partners always need new resolutions. Make more tea, bring more presents, that kind of thing.
What resolution would you make for younger siblings1?
Parents are also good for making resolutions for. What would you like your parents to do more or less of?
