When the Egyptians first tamed cats, it was so that they could be used to keep the rats away from the grain stores.....
It was a Capital Offence to harm the cats!!!
And they made the cat a God!

Me not care if you do put capitals in front of your words... me only knows it is a very...very...very...very... bad thing to do anything naughty to a cat.
As to a cat being a God... well... ~Greebo grins~ who can say...
