So I'm new here...

So I'm new here and am interested in the language & linguistic sections already!
My 30th birthday is coming up and the event planners have been sending me riddle upon riddle, which have to be solved for a clue to be provided. And so, I found my way to h2g2...
Looking forward to finding my way & seeing the sights.
