You might mention in the article somewhere (Perhaps in the postscript) that NYC is considering a 1,776 Ft (541 meter) structure to be called the Freedom Tower, which is due to be completed in 2012.

Were my comments in post 13 ignored or just missed? They were only minor suggestions, but they have neither been included nor dismissed. I don't mind either way, really, but I did feel they would have improved the entry.

Ah my good friend, Mr Skanky, rest assured never ignored.
The first point regarding your presumptions about the depression bears the hallmarks of an "if ... then..." statement. If your presumption is incorrect, then should I still mention it? Erm. No.
Or is it less a presumption than a statement of fact, in which case please feel free to offer more?
The second point pertains to popular cultural detail about one building in particular. Since the article makes no attempt to enter into similar detail for all the buildings AND there is a spectacularly well written article in the EG on the ESB already, it is submitted that there is no room for King Kong or he that saw art in everything here.

I thought the suggestion about the depression was worth a bit of extra research, but it was only a half-educated guess. The other suggestion was completely up to you.
So I'm quite happy with this, now that my ideas have been summarily dismissed. Pick away

Like it - nice editing. Just one thing I noticed - the height for the Park Row building can't be right - 188m (386ft) doesn't work; I assume it should be 118m (386ft)?

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
