There seem to be a fair number of Canadian researchers and yet they have no code. Are we supposed to just choose the culturally closest one? RS or RE, for example? The Irish get their own one separate from British, how come we don't?

im sure if you bring it up to the "powers that be" something may be done about it. it may be a slow process but you never know.
