A Conversation for Greek Mythology: The Tale of Io and Argus

Great article!
With myths that old, there tend to be a few different versions though- for example, in various ones I've heard:
-Hera (who knew what was happening) asked Zeus for the cow as a present, and he couldn't refuse without making it obvious, so he gave her the cow and she placed it under Argus' guard.
-Hermes didn't bore Argus to sleep, he lulled him with his musical and storytelling skills.
-Hera sent a huge gad-fly to torment Io, instead of bees.
As I said, these aren't corrections, just various versions of the same story. Maybe you could add them in at the end ('some versions of the story say that...')
Anyway, I very much enjoyed the article, and was interested to read about the throwing-of-stones-at-Hermes-feet thing- I didn't know about that.
Good luck with it
