Things that will need explaining to our children
1)"This entry isn't simply a list of nostalgic items rather a set of things, concepts and practices that have ceased to exist that if the next generation were to be told about them would result in blank looks, possibly even puzzlement and the thing in question has to be explained to them"
I think the end of that sentence should be " and the thing in question having to be explained to them"
2)"such as the internet is a worthy concept" comma between internet and is would help.
3)"some explain to future generations" Some explaining or some explanation.
4)"driving test, they" - , should be "driving test.They"
5)"have anymore" Any more is always 2 words.

A concept to add? smiley - winkeye People had to learn grammar and spelling; grammar (parsing sentences) counted 16% when I took GCE 'O' level. No relying on spellchecks or green squiggly lines. smiley - smileysmiley - star
