Merely a number

Surely you should be able to tell by checking the inbox and spam filter of said email account for recent mail from Auntie.

Ah, yes, er...
I no longer have that E-mail account because I changed providers over time. Oh well, maybe some way will be thought of in the future.

If you can not remember the specific h2g2 username and password and the email account it was signed up with is no longer valid then, yes, that username is inaccessible.

I'm in a similar position (except I can remember screen names) where email accounts no longer exist.

So we're part of BBC's 90% who haven't opened the email. But as I understand it that means the (now defunct) email address will be transferred to the new owner who will then be able to issue an invitation to addressee – once they're matched.

Check your settings. If your email address is defunct, you can change it for another one.

Then you could contact the h2g2Editorial and ask them to add that address to their list smiley - smiley

Perhaps we should leave all the inner doors open, then you won't hurt yourself so much smiley - hug

I frequently manage to shoulder-bash the door frame. Apparently my brain forgets to compensate for the fact that my shoulders are wider than my head. smiley - rolleyessmiley - laugh

Invest in a set of cat whiskers for all your door measuring needs smiley - winkeye

It's catching my belt loop or sleeves on door handles which I manage to do on a regular basis. Which is always funny.
