A Conversation for Introducing the Volunteer Teams

I thought of Penpushers Ink, but nobody uses pens these days and Mousepushers Ink sounds as if you might be selling some illegal substance.
Think in Ink?

I think you need a name which:
-- Attracts all comers. This means, is interesting to everybody - old, young, Brits, foreigners, etc. (The idea is to grow the site.)
-- Indicates an invitation. The UnderGuide bugged me for months, because I had no idea who these people were. I would never have joined them voluntarily - the name suggested a subversive organisation. (I thought they were about 'where to go in London after hours'.)
-- Indicates that it's not *just* about writing. Or you won't get the artistic and AV stuff off the ground.
'Think Inc' is cool, but what does it suggest? I would think of quizzes, conundra, and philosophical discussion. (Also a great idea.)
Anybody besides me been watching 'Mad Men'? I'd say, ask yourself, WWDDD? ('What would Don Draper [Madison Avenue advertising executive extraordinaire] do?')
Just a thought.

We could of course have a tag line. So catchy and cryptic name with slightly more informative tagline.
We do have to get rid of the 'challenge' label though (otherwise the tag, h2g2 creative challenges would be good).

I sort of like the single word 'Compose' which would work with a subtitle -
Compose:
a place to create all things literary, sound and visual.

Oooh Ooh Ooh - and at the side of the screen we could have 'read' 'write' 'talk' and 'compose'...

Harking back to the 'Volunteer for the Creative Challenges Team here' thread, posts 70-ish to 80-ish: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F21537567?thread=8263104&skip=60&show=20 I expressed concern about too many Challenges leading to devaluation of the currency and, being duly challenged on that, said I'd think on it. Well, on & off I have and the best I can come up with is as follows: [You are permitted to say "Rubbish" (but not too loudly)] A routine monthly vote, run from The Post and/or an IGSI (Intra-Galactic Superhighway Interchange) forum. Categories: . EGEs / AGEs . UGEs . The Post - categories as per Saving The Best 'Til Last challenge* Less often, formal Challenges. For starters, let's suggest: . Timed for the sun signs, ie Equinoxes and Solstices. . An Annual 'Zastar' vote for the best of any/all categories. The winning originator being entitled to call ierself (themself?) ~ Zastar for a year, in the manner of 'Bel Zastar' from a little while ago. * incidentally, when do we get to know?
