Here is the information I have, and suggestions.
Rail Journey:-
Outward journey: Saturday 20 May 2006
LONDON VICTORIA. Depart at 12:03
BROADSTAIRS. Arrive at 13:46
Return journey: Sunday 21 May 2006
BROADSTAIRS. Depart at 16:21
LONDON CHARING CROSS. Arrive at 18:37
It appears that there is no direct service to London Victoria for the return Journey. Other times are available. The trains depart from Victoria every 30 minutes, and leave Broadstairs every 15 minutes.
The Guest Houses below are the cheapest at @ £20:00 for a single room.

They are all relatively close to the centre of town.
It should mean meeting at the Station for non-train travellers around 15:00.

for Saturday, at around 16:00 to 17:00, even though it looks like I'll be 
by myself... Oh well, I'll enjoy it.
