Right.

Today I spoke on the telephonic device to terminal loser and sad boy Roymondo.

He is about 98% certain to not be able to make the meet, due to various reasons.

At the same time, his computer has chosen this week to die, so he is unable to explain this in person.

The poor fool thought he could trust me to convey this information to the rest of the meet community in a totally non-judgmental fashion, showing remarkable naivety in the face of the evidence.

So there you go. Looks like we're down to the hard core now.

I'm going down to Sandwich on Friday night, and will meet up with people on Saturday in a pub somewhere, somehow (I have mobile phone numbers...I hope no-one has changed theirs recently!)

May I suggest that 2legs and MMF meet up at Victoria and travel down together? Or arrange some kind of suitable arrangement between themselves?

You're down to the hard core plus me and Sarah the Absent, who should be arriving in Hernia Bay Saturday hopefully in time to get us down to Broardstairs "about 3.00"

MMF's email server and I are incompatible; anything I've sent to him has bounced back, and anything he may have sent to me hasn't arrived BUT (and I'm not sure if this is a Good Thing or notsmiley - winkeye

I've got 2 Legs' mobile number secreted on my mobile.

The point IS will he have his phone about his person on Saturday?

Any chance of a rough indication of which pub you'll be in.....

or when the London Train gets in to Broardstairs - the whereabouts of Broardstair's station in that case might be a handy thing to know -

or something?

In short, would you mind being volunteered as social secretary please?smiley - grovel

It's going to be hell trawling the pubs and knickerlegs of Broardstairs without a rough guide otherwisesmiley - erm

Metaphorically speaking, of course.
