very neatly - I really like The Insider - it is the one he should've won Best Actor for (well - if he hadn't been up against Kevin Spacey). Pacino's excellent as well.

And on the subject (vaguely) of Mann - should I see Mannhunter before Red Dragon? I really want to see it, and could actually make myself get round to hiring it this week...

I would say 'after' in preference to 'before', cos that way you'll have the better film to look forward to. And 'instead of' in preference to 'after' cos that way the plot will not be so familiar to you, and why waste time watching second-rate remakes? smiley - smiley

In Manhunter, do they get a phone call from someone who says he is the 'Pilgrim'?

well, I think I am going to go see Red Dragon - Ralph Fiennes, Edward Norton and Philip Seymour Hoffman encourage me, they're great and I don't get to see them in enough films.
Plus I haven't been to the cinema for a good two and a half weeks, and I'm feeling the need!

Ummmm.... the Fiennes character definitely gets referred to as 'Pilgrim' but I can't remember if it's ever actually over the phone.

Didn't go to the pictures this week either (nothing on that interested me). But I'll definitely be off there this weekend, either to see K19 or Donnie Darko (can't decide which).

I think you'd know the phone scene if it was there, it had the potential to be a really tense moment, I'm surprised they left it out. Plus it expands on the part of the reporter.
