The gallery contains pictures created by the Community Artists. CAs are volunteers who draw graphics for the Edited Guide and other pages. We work to lists given to us by the h2g2 Editors.

The only way to have your work included in the gallery is to join the CommunityArtists.

It isn't possible to get external pics blobbed.

Do you have some work elsewhere on the web? We'd love to see it.

thanx amy i just wonders if i could cut n past pics to tranfer into blobs form other sites to this one, i have no work elsewhere on the net, but thanx for letting me know that i wouldnt be able to use external pics on h2g2

Cutting and pasting pictures from one site to another is usually a breach of copyright.

yeah i realise that n thats why i wont be doing that, i will be using pics from h2g2, i think i understand about your last post about creating another forum from within my own space n will be giving it a go thanx for your help,

yeah i knew that babes, what im trying to figur out id how to creat 2/3 forums from within my own space, like i said, i think i understand your post regarding this but till i put your advice into practice im not sure how it will turn out

If you start a new account you will have to keep swapping from one identity to the other. It depends on how much you like logging in . If you're a digibox user you may find you're restricted to one login anyway.

i have built it now, it's a pub one or two probs i need to clear up before i subbmit it though, i have put everything in one big table but the inner tables are all on the left how can i make them go to the center pls? also if i submite the one how do i activate the inner rooms i want?

To centre the table you can use the attribute ALIGN = "CENTER" in the tag.

Example:

To centre each of the little tables you need to put the same attribute, ALIGN = "CENTER", in the tags.

You might also want to play with the width of the tables (see the WIDTH attribute in the first example I gave).

I'm afraid I don't understand your second question. Are you asking how to hyperlink pictures and words to specific conversation forums?

hiya, thanx for doing the test page, i have redone it n looks great i didnt know how to center everything, i'll try explain best i can what i want and what i have done, well i wanted something along the lines of the folders arms but just three parts as you have seen a bar a pool room and a function room, i dont know how to link them via hyper link but what i have done is made 3 other guide entrys representing the bar pool room and function room and put the links on the fron of the page the one you did a test page for, if you want you can have my pass word n you can look see if i did everything right. also i wanted to know how i can put writen and researched by in the name without adding it to the main page n do this to the other 3 guide entrys, thanx for your help

I don't need your password because I can see the code using the test facility. It looks good to me .

If you press the Edit this Page button for each entry and scroll down you'll find a box where you can enter your U number and get listed in the 'Written and Researched by' section. If this doesn't make sense please post back here.

morning amy. yeah i saw that box n my number was already there, the thing i dont understand is.. wen you click onto my page (the boar's head) n then click either the bar pool room or the function room you go to page where it says discuse this entry, but wen you click on any room in the folders you go directly to the chat thread, n this is the effect i want for the boars head, can you help me with that one pls? sorry for being a pain lol
