There's a chiropodist at the top of my road prop. Russell Gorman...I wonder? (Actually I get the feeling if I asked, he might have relatives in Royal Leamington Spa, the shop looks that posh, even in Bearwood!)
I like the book...if only because we get to hear more from Danny and in particular Hanne

I'd be interested to know if Leamington Spa Dave Gorman has been publicly scorned since his non-appearance in the 54. Hmmm.
One of my favourite bits in the book is Dan's reaction after Dave takes him to the Isle of Wight under false pretences, and then 'happens' to bump into another DG on the pier.
Dan's reaction: "You sh*t!"
Deeply funny.

I've lent the book to a colleague over the Christmas break who, soon after taking him on in October I managed to uncover almost exactly the same sense of humour 
I want it back, I want to read it again! Or I could just buy it again in the new cover
