Starsky and Hutch

Apparently about to cast a film version,still sorting out who will play them. Did anyone see the quite frightful Will and Gareth makeovers in a recent Heat magazine, it was simply pitiful. What was good about Starsky and hutch was1) The way Huggy bear walked2) the car3) Starsky4) Their boss and 5)The bit where hutch jumps and lands on the car.
One thing annoyed me,Hutch nearly always got the girl,why? And the other thing I find upsetting is quite often I can't remember the theme tune and have to whistle 'Taxi' or 'Hill street Blues' when I need to cheer myself up.
