I have never been to Chester. Now, though, I've had an intro to Chester, via your writing, (which always makes me sooo hungry.) heheh. I'm vegetarian. Always interested in menus that have an option. Most menus do these days, but there are options and options, if you know what I mean.

This is a very easy place to be vegie. Most of my companions are ambivalent (one is strict) and apart from the problem that all of the gluten free food was meat based, we happily would have chosen from both "sides" of the menu. On the day most of us went for the roast because it was Sunday lunch and better value.
Chester is so very wonderful. The first time I went there I assumed that it was recreated. Apparently it is all real albeit tidied up.
