I was hoping people would make up names, rather than use little english villages, and this is naming things that occur because of h2g2, not things that have always been around but haven't had names.

That's what Amazon is for. It's where I got my copy from (although, I have now memorised it, so the paperback edition is comparatively useless).

Liff didn't impress me much. One or two might have been funny - but an entire book? Too much joke repetition - quantity, not quality...

Best _literary_ thing - obviously starting h2g2 was a much better idea.
I've openly been not a huge fan of HHGTTG since I turned up here, and I was left somewhat cold by Dirk Gently as well.
Liff, however, makes me laugh out loud, even on the umpteenth reading.

No, HHGTTG is great, and soooooo quotable. I used to be able to explain all about 'Share and Enjoy' off the top of my head.
