Shame there's no photo of you with tea-cosy on head, that would be good to seesmiley - ok

We had a static caravan on a site on the east coast of England for 21 years and I remember how cold it could be IN season so I could certainly feel the chill you describe here!

Hi, Smudger,

You had a touch of 'Writer's Block' didn't you? I know the feeling all too well.smiley - smiley

You didn't say what year that was. Was it one of the big freeze winters, in which case I think you just about got away with it? I have spent many a week in a caravan, and a mobile home. Wonderful in good weather, but not so brilliant in the winter, though the modern ones are pretty swish(swish price too!).

I have this ridiculous mental picture of you with a tea cosy on your head, with one big ear and one small ear sticking out each sidesmiley - rofl Can you go and check your mirror to see if there is any lasting damage, please, and that both ears are the same size, smiley - biggrin

We still have a smiley - laugh about me going out to change that bottle of gas in the middle of a white out blizzard, my soaped body wrapped up in blankets, with my boots on, and that Tea cosy on my headsmiley - laughsmiley - winkeye
