New quote:
"All very large numbers are equal"
A googol, a googolplex . . . what's the difference?

It gave its name to the search engine (respelt). The googol is 10^100, the googolplex is 10^(one googol). Not much difference . . .
While it is easy to write down a googol (1 followed by 100 zeros) there is not enough paper in the world to write a googolplex as 1 followed by a googol zeros. So I was really just kidding.
Another way of naming a googol is "ten billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion" (say "billion" eleven times; that is US/UK billions, not European ones).
Physicists say there are not that many atoms in the universe (estimated at between 4x10^78 and 10^79).

R'man is correct. Then there is the 'Googolplexian' which is 10^googolplex. These numbers are kinda silly, but still infinitely short of infinity.

<"You can break eggs without making an omelette" >
Premise: "You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs"
Reformulation as a conditional. "If you make an omelette, you break eggs."
So you're right. To assert that "If you break eggs, you make an omelette." would be to commit the fallacy of affirming the antecedent!

". . . let it be presupposed that every good Christian is to be more ready to save his neighbor's proposition than to condemn it. If he cannot save it, let him inquire how he means it; and if he means it badly, let him correct him with charity. If that is not enough, let him seek all the suitable means to bring him to mean it well, and save himself." -- St Ignatius Loyola

Both are excellent. My bike is semi-recumbent, a PDQ http://www.bikefix.co.uk/pdq.html and the Brompton folding bike is the best folder I've come across. My son has one and he folds or unfolds it in 15 seconds. I haven't come across a folding bent.

Thanks for the link. I know Bromptons are quick folding, but cost - although not as much as Fridays. Been checking Giant, Dahon, Birdie, Frog etc.
