This is my first try; and since I've just returned from Chicago, I figured I would do a tribute to this place, that was mentioned by everyone we encountered.

Hi Littlewyng!

Have you looked at some of the Edited Guide's other entries on restaurants? You'll find them at C461. If you look at some of these, you'll see that some more detail would be good. In an entry about a restaurant in Chicago, I don't want to know about restaurants in New York and Pittsburgh; I want to know about one particular restaurant in Chicago. I also want to know what sort of food you can get there and what you might expect to pay for it. What's the atmosphere like inside? Is there a particular type of décor?

Also, if this restaurant is closing in February, an entry on it isn't going to be very useful several months (or years!) down the line. My recommendation is that, once you've included some more information, you submit this to <./>ThePost</.>, h2g2's community newspaper. Not only is it a more time-sensitive publication, it will be more excepting of a review - something that isn't well-suited to the Edited Guide.

I'm afraid that I'd have to agree that this entry would become out of date, very likely before it even gets to be published on our Front Page. Were you aware that's where entries submitted to this (and some of the other review forums) are headed?

Your entry is still part of the Guide, and will be available to anyone using the search engine, but is there anything else in Chicago that you'd like to write about that we could try to get 'published' as part of our Edited Guide?

Your writing is very readable, so I'd like to see more.
