Hello again!
Possibly a unique opportunity, this one.
We've had an archive going for Entry of the Month for quite a while, but I only realised today that it's actually a named Entry: <./>EntryoftheMonth</.> As you can see, B has made a great animated table for it, but we think we need something a bit more suited to the Entry's exalted status.
I've been trying to do one myself, but I'm just not good enough to do it justice. So I thought I'd ask if anyone in the Community Artists is up for the challenge?
I'm trying to standardise on two image formats, and either would be suitable for this archive:
200x200px square - for example http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/blobs/gnomon-sundial.jpg
500x100px square - http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/blobs/websailor.jpg
Graphics should also be as small as possible without affecting image quality, with a maximum size of 80kb. Jpegs or gifs are fine, and can be solid or transparent.
If you fancy a go, send your ideas to us at postteam[at]googlemail[dot]com - if we get more than one suitable submission, we'll use them alternately so nobody's work is wasted!
Thanks for listening!
Rich

No deadline; I'll just post back when we have something suitable. First past the post, so to speak
