Only stations with lifts have been closed down, so Euston should be okay...

it *was* a tourist bus, coleacant, and yes, I am well aware of the fact that we were *very* lucky with the weather. Very lucky indeed.

August and september that year London had not seen a cloud nor any drops of rain for *weeks*. Hyde Park was *yellow*, for Bob's sake, and everyone was talking about an ecological disaster and the world coming to an end and such.

We just enjoyed our ride

It started raining shortly after we left England smiley - biggrin

I had no idea that Euston was so close to Kings Cross!
smiley - sorry

I'll amend the wording on the links

Frankie R, it's not just Euston that people might need information about. It's wherever they come *from* in order to get to Euston they might need to know about. Anyway, if Tube drivers walk out without notice - as they did last week - it makes no difference if it's a deep station or not. A whole line could shut down. I just suggested that GB put the TFL link on the page as a public information service.

Pierce, don't tell everyone we have nice weather in England sometimes! It will spoil our image. Did you feel cheated not to experience the authentic rain? Not to worry. It looks like we can arrange some for your visit this time. smiley - smiley

GB, perhaps a map link on the page would help anyone not familiar with the area. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?G2M?X=529750&Y=182750&A=Y&Z=1 As you can see, its about 600-700 mtrs from Kings Cross.

Yay! looks like I am almost definately going to be along now. Sadly I will need to incorporate some Christmas Shopping into the early part of the day and so will probably be as grumpy as Jack Lemmon.
