No, it just seems to be a handy side effect!
I think you overlap the 'free parking' corners, and go round in a figure of eight.
Or there's the version where you use *four* boards, overlapping various corners... you can go round the 'inside' loop or the 'outside' loop, crossing from one to the other as many times as you like...

Having thought about it last night whilst being prodded mercilessly by my bump, I decided that if you wanted to keep any pennies in the bank it would make more sense to overlap 'GO!' corners. After all, a bunch of hootooers will soon swindle the banker out of any cash it has *grin*
I need more sleep!
Or a good book.... I can finaly read my PTerry books, we got all moved and I found the right box and everything!
Sorry. Where was I?

I can probably provide a London version of Monopoly.
Triv Pursuit is dubious- if you ever get an expert in a given field, there will invaribly tell you at least one answer is wrong- which leads one to wonder how many are actually *right*- I know the questions on Blake's 7, Dr. WHo and roman numerals are certainly wrong.

My permanent man toy would have a giggle at the wrong Dr Who answers... Do you have any examples? He's a bit of an obsessive in a friendly sort of way

Well, the one that sticks in my mind is "who created Dr. Who", the answer on the card is "Terry Nation"- which, as we all know, is totally WRONG!

Not being a Whovian type, I do at least know that Mr Nation was responsible for the Daleks, but not the entirety of Who... How rude of them to not have researched!

There's also a wuestion on Roman Numerals which asks, "what is VXII", the answer given being "42" hmmm, kind of makes you doubt the rest of it....

Been there, done that. It started off sensibly enoygh, but soon decsended into drunken idiocy that involved making all the questions have dirty answers

I've recently managed to get hold of a Birmingham edition of Monopoly... only question is how I could get it down to nodnoL without bashing it... and without forgetting to bring it back!

It'll eventually find it's way back to Birmingham.
If you leave after me I'll offer to pick it up for you.

*grin*
Have just guilt tripped the permanent man toy into coming to nodnoL with me in Jan Justhave to go beg Abi to pop him on the list for me
