my mum keeps calling me and asking what I've eaten...

I wouldn't mind so much if I were a skinny wayward teenager, but I'm a hefty 42 year old who hasn't lived at home properly (because of boarding school) since I was about 11!!

I'm really glad I left that behind me, even my husband isn't worried anymore since I've gained so much weight last year. ( I completely forgot to eat last Thursday, but nobody asks anymore )

well, I'm as "skinny" now as I have ever been, due to a rather stressful 4 months at work in 2003 - since then I don't eat much, but at this age it doesn't matter, it's all going on the hips.

Although for the past week I've had a hankering for smoked trout, which is normally available by the truckload at Aldi. But not since last week

which reminds me, I have to today

We'll have the Green sauce tomorrow, although MMF didn't sound exactly enthusiastic when i asked him
I'm as 'fat' ( not really) as I've never been , pregnancies excluded, but aslong as my trousers still fit, I think I'm fine.

had a nice day shopping for clothes today - doubly nice because the sales lady, at one point, grabbed a skirt out of my hands, tutting at me, came back with another 3 sizes smaller and said "don't you ever measure yourself?"

Do you want it for breakfast then ? Or would you want to eat it on Tuesday for lunch ? I'll think of something different for tomorrow then

I really hope I've left the 'three sizes smaller' way behind me

I'm always up for new culinary experiences...sure we can fit it in somewhere along the way!

That's ok, it's probably best to go here first to get rid of your luggage anyway, so then we can all have some lunch before we go into town
