You certainly deserve the accolade considering the sheer volume of effort that you have displayed in making h2g2 a welcome environment for all the lost souls of Telewest.

I cannot help but consider you as a latter day Moses, leading the Digiboxites from bondage and into the promised land. We have the blessings of an angel on our side, a Paladin with a flaming broadsword of justice and a weatherbeaten umbrella to facilitate our crossing of the Red Sea.

It is indeed sad about ld closing, no more ntler's or webtv or even pc users, that means less people to talk to, how can that be a good thing?

I hope everyone's gonna be in the chatrooms at either 10 or 5 to post some difficult questions to the new Gov(or whatever he/she's now called), although why it can't be done in the Library, so noone misses it I can't understand, just pray we can get in

There is already quite a few people in the library saying that they won't be on after it changes over.

If we could find out their email addy's we could send them some magic email's

the library was what made LD special... without that it would have been just another chat site... [or whatever is the correct term... hehe]

I know,there were some special friendships on ld and I know that some people who met on ld have started new relationships together.

It will be a shame to loose all that.

I will do what I can to make a home on h2g2 for all those that come over.

A sad day methinks

When I posted in the Library earlier, I got a rejection message back from the mod(story of my life), saying it wasn't suitable because: If I have any questions, I'd to ask the mod directly and she would reply?!(that's a first, she never writes back), and that the library was going nowhere, cos I also wrote "Library (R.I.P)"?.

loup: It seems they are just going to be message boards, I wonder if the update rate will be better, I doubt it somehow

I posted some questions on mine and I didn't get the rejection or an answer from the mod.

PS I think it may have been the r.i.p,thats why you got the reject sign.

obviouly the "r.i.p" bit must too close to the truth...
