Okay, a new, non-fictional version to go alongside the fictional one (which is no longer in peer review and is in the bin).

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

I really don't think this is going to make it as an edited entry James. A detailed read of Writing-Guidelines will explain why smiley - smiley

fords - number 1 all over heaven

It's got the potential to be a good, funny entry. But yeah, I'd keep it as clean as I could and possibly rename it. The title is a bit misleading - I was expecting to read something a bit more scientific smiley - winkeye

If you were to do a serious Guide entry, I'd suggest you look up your old biology books - there are a lot of interesting theories out there as to why we have pubic hair. However, if you want to keep it light, why not rename your entry something like '20 Uses for Pubic Hair?' or something similar? smiley - smiley

Something at the back of my mind is telling me that there was a thread in Ask h2g2 recently about hair in unusual places... I think I unsubscribed from it though.

Or it might have been somewhere entirely not of h2g2 smiley - erm

I'd like to suggest a move to the Writing Workshop to allow this Entry to be developed. Any seconders, scouts?

Yeah, you are right of course. I have removed the entry from Peer Review and I don't think that I will be referring it to the writing workshop either. It's not going to happen. It was originally an edited version of my original entry http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A817841 which I submitted to the alternative writing workshop and recieved no feedback at all. I wrote it in the style of Doug Adams' writing, which is obviously not suitable, as it's all fiction!

Oh well. Maybe you could find something else to write about for the Edited Guide - you're pretty good at writing! smiley - smileysmiley - cake

The CAC CONTINUUM - The ongoing adventures of the Committee for Alien Content (a division of AggGag)

Hi James, smiley - smiley

I just read this coz it's in this week's AggGag. I like it! smiley - biggrin

It's fun and nicely written. Just what the AWW needs and loves. Sorry to hear it got no feedback there, but let it fester and stay subscribed; occasionally people *do* read the stuff in there, i assure you.

There's no doubt it ain't PR. You've got to wait a pretty long time to get any feedback at all. And in any case, some people will just read it and move along, without saying anything.

Of course PR is where all the feedback comes from. But hopefully this appearance in AggGag will glean a little extra glory for you to if not bask in then at least splash on each cheek. smiley - biggrin

How comes you didn't get to ten, by the way. smiley - laugh

Don't know. I just couldn't really think of anything else worth writing I suppose.

I'm glad that *some* people like the entry, because I have had some rather negative feedback on the two entries.

James
