Possible Paris Meetup 2003

Post 1

Frankie Roberto

Hi, I thought I'd pop by and mention that I'm thinking about organising a Paris meetup for some time next year. If you go over to A830747 you'll see more about it - perhaps you could suggest some good things to do in Paris?

Discussions about it should either be on the page itself on on here: F53684?thread=210629

Thanks,

Frankie

Hi there Frankie, smiley - smiley

I've added in a link to your Paris meet page as this month's 'coup de coeur'. smiley - smiley

I hope you get a good response; it sounds like a great idea. There are many things to do and see in Paris, even without paying many entry fees etc

travel and sleeping should be the most expensive part, I should think.

bon courage

I don't know much about Paris but am available for any piece of info you may need about France in general. Being in SW France, I'll be happy to help if I can.
Salut.

Oh, salut, Chan, smiley - smiley

sorry, i didn't notice you'd actually posted here, smiley - blush

i'm in the opposite corner of France to you. I know there's a researcher in the Lyon area, so all we need now is someone with an 02 tel code and we've got the provinces covered! smiley - biggrin

We can all cover the capital between us. smiley - smiley

Lots of Bank holidays in May, problem is, they don't tend to coincide with the English ones. smiley - sadface

Surely the Easter break itself is the best bet...

I'm going skiing for some of it. And wouldn't it be more expensive? A possibility though, coz I get a long Easter break...

I'm on holiday 20 - 27th April. May would be good, or earlier in April (I get the whole month off).

btw, Francis Langlois is really me these days... smiley - sadface.

I set the account up for a French friend, but they never really got into it. I'd already swapped the FrConn page from me to him, so i couldn't be bothered to swap it back. Besides, it's kinda nice having a French alter ego! smiley - biggrin I only really use it to update the page, though.

Tout ca pour dire... that Fr Langlois is unlikely to be making an appearance at a possible Paris meet-up, smiley - winkeye. Although, the original Francis is quite the type to come along for the craic. smiley - smiley
