Reef lies, this thread was always strict on omnipresence and I loved that, this is why this used to be my favourite section! I hate and always will hate omnipresence. I mean for crying out loud your not going to be in the Barracks and all of a sudden appear in the Guardroom back to the Barracks back to the Guardroom without telling anyone of your departure and arrival let alone in real life! A roleplaying thread is to play a role and to play a role you have to act the part. To be a roleplayer you must be an actor and to be an actor you can not be inconsistant! But as I said I will be more than glad to take my leave if that will be the best for everyone! I just can't believe people are going to let a new person come in and change everything. But hey whatever, if thats the case he can have my posistion!
*grabs his stuff and starts organizing it into a little suitcase*

Where the hell did all this "this thread was always strict on omnipresence" and "To be a roleplayer you must be an actor and to be an actor you can not be inconsistant!" come from, there's never been a rule about omnipresence not even when *Spit* spook *Spit* was in charge and I play my character here in the Terranic Army as Reefgirl (Sister Anna is Carrying the Banner Behind The Band Wagon) not Col Reefgirl MP, who ever SHE is, I do play serious RPG's but to my knowledge this has never been 'Serious' like the Jedi Academy, Warwickshire or Stagate Command, IMHO nothing has changed since Terran first created it, so why is SWL changing anything by posting the way he is

creachy Posted Feb 10, 2006
I'll take responsibility for SWL, was kind of my fault, sorry. But saying that, I didn't realise it would offend anyone
Before anyone starts tearing strips off someone else can we all take a chill pill
Gangorlas, this is the Terranic Army, where to my knowledge mayhem is the name of the game. If you want a strict RPG then I suggest you type 'strict RPG' into Google and go from there. This is fun.
I shall have a look at SWL's posts and have a wee chat in private with him if it seems neccessary. He's new and I don't want him frightened off by over aggressive posters. He's now in my personal charge ok
Now where the hell did that teapot go...

*hands creachy the teapot*
Well as I said, he can have his promotion with my departure!
I guess you can just put me down as a retired member or an AWOL member I could care less. Send the MPs after me but I have no other choice!
*continues gathering his stuff and shoves the last of it in his suitcase grabbing his jacket and car keys*

Now come on, lighten up. I'm not one to insistently try to pursuade people to stay if they say they are going, it's your choice in the end. I'm sorry you were disillusioned with the army, but you do tend to take things a little seriously.
Come over here and I'll make you a nice cup of herbal tea

Nova Rift (Werecat/wolf, First Mate of Pirates, Captain of The white Defender, and a Jedi Padawan named Fr' Tel Powil) Posted Feb 10, 2006
No, its not the fact that I take things too seriously, its just I was told to come here for a good serious RP and thats what it was. Yeah we had times when we justed farked around but other than that it was an enjoyable thread. I am sad to say that it is far from enjoyable anymore these days!
*pushes the herbal tea away*
Plus I am allergic to Herbal Tea

creachy Posted Feb 10, 2006
Oh it's stil serious, I take my wit and humour very seriously
Besides, it's not that kind of herbal tea, wink wink nudge nudge.
*pushes it back*

I gave up that "herbal tea" a long time ago!
*grabs a bottle of sherry and starts drinking it while throwing his feet up on his desk*
I don't want to leave but I can't put up with this anymore!

I know how you feel, sometimes the madness overcomes me too, but do you know what I do....*leans over the desk towards Gangly*...I drinks herbal tea
*Downs the pot of herbal tea...through a straw*
I understand what you mean by the serious RDG games, and they are fun and easier to get along with because of all the rules, but a place like this was founded on the complete disregard of any sort of organisation in terms of serious rules. The only rules you *need* to stick to are the ranking system, cos that can be funny, and the regiment system. Obviously, listening to Ranking officers is important too, but disobeying them can lead to excellent adventures too at the right time. So use this place to curb your desire for complete madness, not rule abiding authoritarinism....is it me, or is everything turning green

Terran, there's a link to the page on continuity on the World War Battlefield page, maybe an idea if everybody reads it and holds to it, and it might help to put it on the main page. Those rules should ensure fun roleplay and plenty of farking about.
Senior Officers Quarters
creachy Posted Feb 10, 2006
Oh yes, I remeber that page
It took about a week before most of the rules were broken. I think it is recognised that if you are doing a specific something in one thread, you should stick to that until you've finished, that's just general knowledge that is

Ralph the Wonder Llama and André the dodo; Excrement Occurs Posted Feb 10, 2006
Those rules make sense, though. We should try to stick to them.
And why isn't my KA rank system being used?
