Hello,
I had a kidney pyloplasty 13 years ago and all has gone well. The only thing is i have terrible bloating on eating and drinking and have soreness on right side and aches from my right side and it feels uncomfortable everytime i swallow something underneath my ribcage. Is this anything to worry about as the pain i'm getting is similar to that of kidney ache before i had the pyloplasty. Also has anyone else had a pyloplasty as i would love to hear from anyone who has had this procedure done and whether these things i'm experiencing is anything related to the kidney?
thanyou in advance...............

Well, i'm now kind of expert - but i can tell you that you're not alone. I get that 'bloating' feeling too, and i'm told that this is to be expected. Your bloating on the right - is that the pyloplasty side or the 'normal' kidney?
Early after my op i used to feel uncomfortable after eating and drinking, but that has stopped - that might be because i don't eat quite as much now - i'm not sure. That seems to have abated in the year since i had mine.
