If we examine the governments of the many countries of Earth, it is difficult to find any that fully satisfy a good proportion of the governed.
Democracy might be part of the answer. Government of the people by the people, effected by representatives chosen by popular acclaim. But how to choose these representatives, and what if these representatives consider themselves apart from the masses that elect them? What if they become caught up in themselves and the systems, the jargon, the insider dealing that they will invent to sustain themselves and secure their future?
A benevolent dictatorship might be an attractive option. But, where to find a good, wise, intelligent, just and honest person willing to give up his 'normal' life for the sake of the people?
