...but "There is not one Irish h2g2er who has ever exhibited prejudice in their conversation with me. You can't even tell what religion they are" makes me chuckle every time I read it.

I think among Irish hootoo-ers we've probably got much the same range of outlooks as we do in Ireland generally, but in one way at least, we're all roughly on the same page. That is, *none* of the ones I've encountered here consider it outrageous to have a differing opinion from them.

But oy, oy, oy. Some of us still squirm when we hear terms like "the Main Island". smiley - headhurtssmiley - laugh

smiley - laugh Well, it *was* intended to make you laugh, in particular...also to express the opinion that you guys are an astonishingly broadminded set of people.

That island just thinks it's more important because it's bigger, you know...no matter how many times we say that size doesn't matter...smiley - whistle

Of course, the real powerhouse is the Isle of Man...
